CAPITAL CAMPAIGN EVENT - MACY'S SHOP FOR A CAUSE
Once again the Capital Campaign Committee is participating in Macy's Shop for a Cause Fundraising Event. This year the event will take place on October 17, 2009. Shop for a Cause is Macy's national charity shopping day to support national and local nonprofit organizations. Since 2006, Shop for a Cause has helped raise more than $28 million for thousands of charity partners.
To support the building of a new church the Capital Campaign is selling $5 Shopping Passes. Each pass gives the buyer a 20% coupon as well as an entry into a Macy's sponsored $500 Macy's gift card give away. Additionally, all church member participants will be eligible for weekly drawings including a special grand prize; Bishop always says, "You never know what will happen at ALFWC..." but you have to be in it to win it.
On October 17, 2009 at noon, Chosen Generation will join the Capital Campaign team at the Woodbridge Macy's* to sing for the patrons of Macy's. We invite you to not only buy your shopping pass today but to also come out at noon to support our youth as we advance His kingdom!

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN - GENERAL INFORMATION
During this three year Capital Campaign, we will not receive Resurrection Seed Sacrifice. On Easter Sunday, every member was requested to contribute one week salary. These funds were used to renovate the property and cover soft cost of the initial building project.
We will continue to contribute to Crossing Over Seed, whereby, each member is requested to sow $100 on New Year's Eve. These funds in the past were used to renovate the property. In the future, these funds will be earmarked towards replenishing cash flow reserves.
And as always, let us continue to be faithful and consistent in sowing our tithes, offerings and campaign pledges. Our Capital Campaign officially began January 2008.
CAPITAL CAMPAIGN - PLEDGE AND GIVING INFORMATION
We need your help!
To ensure that our record keeping is accurate, please follow these helpful hints:
If you are sowing seed toward your capital campaign pledge, please mark the line on the contribution envelope which states Capital Campaign (only). Entries on the line marked “other” will be ear-marked as an offering.
Please take the time to fill out your first and last name. If you find this time consuming, we understand, you can use pre-addressed labels.
Please refrain from using nicknames, middle names, or a spouse using their maiden name and married name, etc. It's better to use one name, this way we don't create more than one record on file for you.
If you change your address, please fill out the envelope more than once during the year. This will give the Trustee Office more than one chance to modify the information in the data base. Keep in mind; the Church Office and the Trustee Office are not on the same system due to confidentiality. So if you have a change in any information (marital status, telephone number, address change, etc.) please contact the Church Office at 732-545-3897 and inform them of the change as well.
If you have changed your address and continue to submit a check with the old address, please write your new address on the contribution envelope. If you don't, there is a possibility that we will re-enter your old address from your check in the database.
If you are submitting donations online through Abundant Life Family Worship Church's website, make sure you indicate where to direct the funds (i.e. tithes, offering, capital campaign, benevolence, missions, return check fee, etc…). If you don't indicate where the funds are to be directed, we will record all entries as an offering.
If you're submitting a donation through your financial institution (which means the church receives a check from a financial institution or payroll deduction on your behalf), please make sure it's set up properly and indicates where the funds are to be directed. If no direction of funds are indicated on the check, we will ear-mark those funds as an offering.
In order to process your credit card entries, we need the card number, expiration date and your signature. We do not keep your credit card information on file, so you must fill out this information every time you choose this method of payment. Again, if this is time consuming, please use a pre-addressed label.
