Grace and Peace,
On behalf of Pastor Mary and I, our hearts are overwhelmed with happiness when we think about your commitment and faithfulness towards the Capital Campaign Destiny Fulfilled project. “And to all who were written in the genealogy – their little ones and their wives, their sons and daughters, the whole company of them – for in their faithfulness they sanctified themselves in holiness” 2 Chronicles 31:18. Not only will our generation benefit from our new church edifice, our children’s children will also reap the benefits for years to come.
The Capital Campaign Project was launched in December, 2007 and since then, we have raised over $10,000 to date from the various fundraising events. We will not succeed in our endeavors to raise three million dollars towards the building of a new Abundant Life Family Worship Church (ALFWC) without your prayers, financial contributions, volunteered time, talents and expertise.
We have all proven that we are co-laborers with God. With your obedience, the Capital Campaign team has successfully completed several fundraising projects. With the help of the youth, the “Coin Drive” has been a huge success as well as the Macy’s "Shop for a Cause" event. In addition, on May 10, 2008, Pastor Mary and the Women’s Council sponsored the Mother’s Day Breakfast, where the proceeds were donated to the Capital Campaign Project.
To date we have received over 584 pledge contributions and 2.2 million in commitments, and we are continuing to receive more. Although we have made tremendous progress in just a short period of time, we need the help of “all” ALFWC members to make this monumental project a success. Stay encouraged Beloved; together we can accomplish a “VISION IN MOTION”!
