The Words of Wisdom Ministry includes individuals who are fifty-five years old and over. This ministry focuses on serving senior citizens, the sick and shut-in and other residents in the community by providing information relating to social events, recreational activities, educational advantages, and quality of life concerns. 

The Connect Ministry is responsible for embracing our new members and directing them to the appropriate resources and ministries within the church. 

Our Women’s Ministry provides a means of support, positive association and strength, both emotionally and spiritually.  

The Singles Ministry seeks to pursue growth in the Kingdom of God, not conforming to this world, but setting a Godly standard.  This ministry provides an outlet to engage with like-minded peers in fun, fellowship, activities as well as meaningful service oriented projects. 

A-Life serves young adults and colleges students ages 18-22 during the Fall & Spring semesters, providing weekly services at Rutgers University’s New Brunswick campus. 

Seeks to inspire members to live healthy, active lifestyles by providing wellness education and exercise opportunities.

This ministry diligently seeks to spread the love of Jesus Christ to families and individuals both locally and globally who are affected by world disaster.

Stepping Out of Darkness is our Drug & Alcohol Ministry, which addresses the problem of alcohol, drug abuse and other addictions in our community. This is a Christ centered drug and alcohol deliverance ministry designed to assist in the addiction recovery process. 

The Health Ministry promotes a holistic approach to health by emphasizing research, education, wellness, health promotion and disease prevention by expanding the scope of health and healing to the mind, body and spirit. They also provide nurses for each service in the event of a medical situation along with screening during COVID-19.

The Missionary Ministry provides spiritual and physical assistance to those members of the church and community in need of food, clothing, shelter and Christian instruction. This ministry also visits the sick and those in need. 

Great Commission Ministry is committed to evangelizing to the local areas using the Gospel of Jesus Christ by fostering maturity in the local assembly through the sharing of the Gospel. 

Youth Pastor: Pastor Angel Peters

Youth Church is held every 2nd, 3rd & 4th Sunday for youth in Grades 1-12 on the Lower Level at ALFWC. Registration begins at 9:30am.

This ministry has been designed for young women ages 14-19 to solidify Christian principles in dealing with day-to-day issues of young women while providing support and a forum for open communication.

Children of Abundance is our children’s choir, designed for children Grades PreK-5th. 

“Maximizing Experience and Christian Values through One-on-One Relationships”. Our mentoring program is targeted for teens Grades 5-12. It has been created to assist our young people in developing and attaining life goals and dealing with social pressures through positive influences based upon Christ-centered principles.

Our scholarship fund, in honor of Ronald A. Wright, assists our High School Graduates financially as they prepare for college.

This ministry consists of two age groups: Toddlers ages 2-3 and Preschool ages 4-5 & Kindergarten. This ministry has been designed to demonstrate the love of Christ through bible-based values and lessons in the house of God. 

Righteous Anointed Dancers Inheriting Christ’s Abundant Life. This ministry has been designed to embrace our anointed youth Grades 5-12 that have a love for dance and are RADICAL about it!

Chosen Generation is a teen choir designed for youth in 5th Grade through age 20. This choir will sing at special services throughout the year. 

Stands for Urban Praisers Gradually Rising Above Declaring Excellence. They are responsible for leading praise & worship during Youth Church.

Our purpose is to develop, equip, provide guidance and resources, answer questions an encourage parents, guardians, foster parents, step-parents, to live abundantly, grow spiritually and thrive relationally in Jesus Christ. We also provide support to the entire family through prayer. Whether you are single, married, or divorced, have a blended, adoptive or foster family.
